new from michigan

hello all my name is jeff and live in michigan ive been keeping fish seriously for a liottle over 2 years now and keep mostly cichlids, africans to be specific. i just started a stand for my new 55g and thats how i found this awesome forum

I just started my tank few days ago, after a break which was lasting for few years, but I am going to have 10-15 african cichlids in my 55gal tank.

What kind? I'm doing 21 Africans in my 55. Yellow labs rustys and white top hara's. I have 3 labs 4 rustys and 2 paralabidochromis chromogynos piebalds. The last ones are victorian don't know what I'm doing with them yet. I also have a 45 that those are in right now but in putting my kribensis fry in there. In my 10 I have 2 Kribs and 5 rose danios but my Kribs just had about 40 fry

My plan is something similar to your 55, but still not sure how easy is to get nice species here in Ann Arbor,
But for starting I am going to put 3-5 black Mollienesia for better start of nitrogen cycle.
Considering also yellow zebra (mbuna) but they are quite violent.
