To my understanding, they are fussier with their diets especially and more sensitive to water parameters than say your Motoro's and Leo rays.

Not reccomended for people just getting into rays, once you have kept them and know how to care for them, go for it.

It all depends on if they are captive bred or wild caught. If they are wild caught don't waist your money or time.

That's great, but for every 1 successful story there is probably 10 unsuccessful stories. Just out of curiosity how big are yours, I have yet to see or hear of any reaching the 18" disc size.

Finicky eaters.... horrible to get eating. When they do, they get stuck on live worms or frozen worms. If your lucky, and have kept rays before, you can sometimes get them onto better foods.

I owned one before.. i was lucky with mine.. after a few months, i got it to eat proper foods. I sold it eventually and went onto motoros... then Boesemani... then Leopoldi...

    I'll never own another retic.
