New corals are blue/green blasto(LPS) Pink birdsnest, green birdsnest and a red cap monti. Had a huge nitrate spike, supposedly but, not sure how my frogspawn was able to grow and start splitting through a huge nitrate spike.
good to hear about yur progress tank looks great! Now you have the GFO running you might want to look into the bio pellets especially now you are getting into the SPS corals! I was wondering where you went to! LOL You will find that sometime thu the stress of a nitrate swing that some corals will split not so much grow but they will split! I have a small colony of aussie dunkins that I just got about 3 weeks ago and I feed them twice a week and thru the stress of being fragged and moved to my tank I already have 3 new heads! So a frag that went from 3 heads ($15) to 5 heads now worth $25! Click here to enlarge

Well the tank has definitely been fighting a downhill battle for some time. Loss my LTA, 2 birdsnest and a red monti cap. Fought a nitrate battle for almost a month, fought a cyano and hair algae outbreak. Phew. It's finally making a comeback oh and, there was so many changes to my LED plan that my tank went back and forth from old t5's, no lights, crappy LEDs to mine and then back. But, the tank is seriously doing great now. Everything is healthy and I just got the lights up, well lastnight. Everything is finally coming back in my favor. Nitrates are falling back down I am finally seeing an outburst of coralline and the corals are really starting to pick back up. And I also believe my clowns are going to start mating soon. Here are a few shots that I took today and lastnight.

Corals are still a little eh but I think they'll bounce back.

im abit of api too at the moment, the colour charts are too close together to get a real accurate reading with the high ph test,
or maybe its just me not used to testing high ph (its all new now)

I basically cleaned house and got rid of 95% of my zoas, I'm switching to LPS. Picked up a couple Duncan frags. Also, my frogspawn is doing amazing lately.
Full shot, it's bright with no optics
