I like sumps for saltwater because it helps keep everything stable. Do all canister filters cost that much though?!?! Craziness!!

Lol its a metal thing not the filter you have to read the whole thread its about metal in a tank! My point is that not all metal are equal and some are perfectly fine to have in a tank that is not salt water, just not all metals. Originally Posted by FloridaYota

Sump are great fresh or salt!! No not all canisters filter cost that much that one is just a Cadillac so to speak and not that it's any better than any other one, except for the pump on it (is top of the line) but it looks good and is high quality ADA make some great looking stuff. Oh that was one of there cheaper ones LOL Thanks again for your commit!!!!
