    nope just toss the water conditioner into the tank, to the recommended dose for the whole tank volume and fill the tank back up.

    I just wondered how that would work because of my cories. They love to come up and swim into the current of my fill hose. I figured the chlorine could cause some damage. I personally use a 50 gallon rubber maid can on wheels with a pump in it. PS the waste water works great in gardens if you gravel vac when you water change!!

    I don't use this method, but I would imagine that you have to add some of your de-chlorinator when you start adding new water and then the rest when all the water is added.

    I didnt change my water in 6 months! Due to a back injury. My faucet is a sprayer type. Even my showerhead is ridiculously made. it screws on from the outside of the fitting not the inside.
