DIY Stand for 40 gallon + 23 gallon Stuck.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

So i've watched numerous videos on how to build the stand including Joey youtube channel.

The issue i have is that the tanks are two different sizes .

    40 gallon size is 32x16x18

    23 gallon size is 30x12x15

The issue is if i build a stand for the 40 gallon the 23 wont fit underneath.

Was wondering if anyone has any build ideas as i want to keep the tanks together just for the look and easyness.

    Thanks Mark.

Hello Mark and Happy Christmas to you...

Is the 23 a sump? If not, can't the larger tank be the bottom tank and the 23 mounted above?

Might look a bit odd but, not that bad IMHO....

    Merry Christmas FL Dave.

I was thinking that but i was more going to use the bottom tank as potentially a breeding tank for my rams but i'm not 100% sure or set it up as another fish tank.

i'm probably confusing myself more than i should but just trying to get around how to make them both fit within the frame.

My 40gallon is more my community tank so i would rather that be on the top .

Perhaps just build the stand a bit higher (balanced of course) so the 40 isn't so close to the floor?
