    Before and After 180G

So as many of you know, I picked up a 180G.
I made a before and after video.

    Before

    And the After Video!

Overall, I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I no longer need a ladder to actually do maintenance on this tank. With the old canopy, I had to use electrical ties to hold in the filtration. So it was a hassle to actually take off that canopy.

Gorgeous fish! Love the red on the Oscar! Nice balas, you don't see that big very often.
You should keep the geophagus, they are an awesome fish. If not, consider getting some, lovely fish. They will do fine in a barebottom tank. Mine are eating great and doing well.

Thanks for the reply. The geo has been rehomed since my last video with someone that has more geos. She has since laid eggs as well. It was a nice fish so maybe something for the future.

I think you would love a geo. Have you considered keeping some red hook silverdollars, they would add a splash of color to your tank.

It was a thought, but I went with another option. Another oscar, more balas and another severum.

Good call imo. You should make another video showing the new fish, Komodo. By the way, sucks to hear you lost fish during the transition. Same thing happened to me a couple of years back.

I will have to do another video. The oscar is in the 180. Balas and severum are in a 125G until they are large enough.
