    Lighting Idea

So, my wife and I are looking at some large tank setups.I have an idea and wanted to know what you guys think.

We went to glass beach in Fort Bragg last Summer and we gathered up just under 30 lbs of glass stones. Right now I have them in a glassbowl and have rotating LEDs under them, they look amazing.

My thought was to do something similar in a 50 gallon tank. We've already sanitized the stones. I was thinking of putting them on the floor of the new tank, putting a few LED strips under the tank, and a smaller light on the hood.

We keep our tanks clean, so I'm not so worried about that. More, I'm worried as to how that will be on the fish.

    Any ideas, thoughts, opinions?

i don't know how it can harm a fish. Tanks are made of glass and have lights LOL.

Like any animal I believe they should have a lights out time to sleep, but during the day shifting and moving lights is perfectly fine and found naturally in many underwater locations...
