Gel food clouding up the water

What do you guys do when the DIY gel food clouds the water? The gel food I made for my goldfish always clouds up the water and I need to do a big water change after that. They don't eat it quickly, so it clouds the water. It melts. Any cures for this?
Goldfish get big enough only for the bowl you put them in. Bonsai trees twist in miniature. I would have given anything to keep her little. They outgrow us so much faster than we outgrow them.

The particles are quite tiny. I used carrots, peas, paprika, some pellets and two eggs.

i make my gel food with pellets. I also add peas skinned. My fish are larger so i do not know if that will work for you.

All peas are skinned. Maybe it's the egg yolk

Leave the eggs out completely...that will cloud water like crazy. Yolks are for fry

If it melts in water, use more gelatin, and I agree, no eggs.

Agar gels hold up better than gelatin gels in warm water.
