    Chillin' in the sand

So I decided to add sand to 1/4 of my tank since my fish are sand diggers. Shortly after I see this little girl taking a nice nap while buried in the sand.

Sorry if pic is crappy, phone cam is not that great. Just wanted to share.

Very cool and the sand adds a nice touch/look too, in my opinion. Click here to enlarge

I'm thinking about doing half and half. My plecos love the pebbles and the minnows love the sand, so I want them all happy lol

Click here to enlarge this are my 2 male minnows sleeping in the sand. I find this a bit weird since they sometimes chase each other during the day to keep one another away from the ladies, but come bedtime they go cuddle together in the corner lol

I know eh! Fish can be so bizarre sometimes. I saw your video on these minnows and they are very cool looking, for minnows.

They are Sheepshead Minnow, very hardy fish. They can live in pretty much any water conditions and are good for any type of tank, wether it be freshwater, brackish or saltwater. Plus the stripes make them look cool lol the males change color to blue when they want to pick up the ladies
